Alone and scared i make my way to the road
breaking the old and sacred code,
the one that says no
dont break down..dont let go
you cant stay hurt you cant give up
you have to raise your head high and go your own way
giving up isent the same as quiting
its a differnet outlet for you pain
you give more than you can ever gain
you wont see redemption in these eyes
wont find a cure to this disease
wont find a look which will put you at ease
so walk...be a soldier and dont turn around
walk...until the love you once felt is buried in the ground
walk...run
do what you feel is needed
do it for your heart...for which it has pleaded

letting go is hard..
but its harder to hold on
so i remember the code...
and i carry on

One of of the truest things I've ever read. Had a lot of ups and downs in this piece, but for the most part I enjoyed the read. Had a uplifting type feel to it. Keep it up
