My Heart is Yours

we haste only to exhaust ourselves
wanting each minute to be a little bit more
and I understand why time is valuable to us
I share a toast with you
everyday
Because I'm consoled
being next to you.
it freezes the alarm I feel towards this world,
it calms my life
you shower down a meaning we were destined for.
through tired eyes I'm still responsive
of your emphasis, our needs.
I know you wonder what's going to happen
with this
We...unpredictable yet consistent
a once in this lifetime I'm holding for keeps
with a strong grip.
to be honest I'm composed but afraid
not to Love you
the mere thought we may lose

enfolding my mind body spirit around you
time never satisfied, always demanding more.
it's never enough and could it be
we're just wanting too much?

I don't believe it
what we made
we keep making
entwined in endurance
don't let go

i dont really know what to say to this honestly...its so captivating, yet i dunno what the hell to say, lmao...its frustrating really...

i was really feeling the struggle between you and the "someone" within this piece though...couldnt relate to it, cuz somethin like this hasnt happend for me unfourtunatley...time will tell though...only other thing i can think of to say is beautifully written as always. keep it up

I thought that this poem was real nice and emotional. It seems that you have alot of feelings toward whoever this was written about and that a good thing. Sometimes I feel the same way Realms. But this was real nice and I wanted to say nice job.

i always wish there were more hours in a day too.. lol

thats all i can really say though... no doubt this was heartfelt... and i really like your font and style to your poems... its always refreshing to see someone change it up from the regular.. lol

I like the title as well very simple but well put... "My heart is yours" nice choice.. you ever listen to dashboard confessional? lol

wooo. Powerful. I liked this, I was engrossed from start till finish and your descriptions were real good. In particular: you shower down a meaning we were destined for.

This did show some sense of insecurity, but not so much a selfish insecurity, more like a fear of not feeling the togetherness. The word endurance seemed to sum up the 'struggle' there would be along the way, but you were willing, you were ready, you were aware, and still wanted to endure it for the connection, so to belong. a Really heartfelt piece.

Love is a confusing thing I must say. And the reader could feel that from this poem. This was a ver poweful and sincere(sp) poem coming from you. You got so many levels to you.

love can definitely drain alot of energy out of you
especially becoming paranoid of losing the feeling you once shared with eachother
thats why im so afraid of love in the first place...
this was great...shouldnt change anything about it,
