From a pawn to a rook.

I have nothing to say
I don't know anything new
I wanna be on the frontline
But its fires are too far ahead
And the train isn't leaving
Before I'm dead
My blood is gushing out my nose and mouth
It was the first time that life assaulted me
Pushed me face down in the mud
While I accepted that it was I who wronged me
Don't take your foot off my head
Let me breathe a little more dirt
Let me drown in the routine of 20,000 days
Let me feel myself hurt
I have noone to blame
Noone had anything to do with me
It was all me that bestowed the shame
Upon my image, for everyone to see
It didn't affect just me
It affected those who I thought never cared
And those who I thought would help me
Weren't there
As I'm trying to stretch a smile
To overshadow my clingy look
Let me be alone for a while
Until I turn from a pawn to a rook
