Death Comes

Bad dreams creep through my mind as i sleep
i see death comin to reap wit a sweep of his blade
not me this day no way i gettin slayed
no way my blood gettin sprayed
i never played with death,
with every breath prayed that i made
escape from this night's raid
an for now death's toll on my soul left unpaid
but he'll be back to see me fade away
inevitably one day i'll have to pay
and underground i'll be laid
cuz it wasn't death, it was life i played
an i feel betrayed
regardless of Saint or Sinner face death no way to be a winner

whoa. man. sounds like a dream fully realised. Very descriptive view and different viewpoint. Props and real nice. The last line in my opinion could have been broken into 2 lines, but i loved it anyways.

I liked this piece...simple and true...the human conflict dealing with death...I feel the same way at times with so many people around me dieing...losering family and friends saints and sinners alike...death doesnt care who you are....makes one wonder when they card is gonna be pulled....nice poem yo...and the flippin it in your dreams was cool...like dark nightmares....aint no running from the grim reaper once its your time to go...I say live it up to the fullest in the here and now and at least acknowledge that there is a God...because death is just a part of life we all must face

I was definitely feeling this. I sometimes wonder about death but realize that each day we are one step closer.

This was an interesting piece into the nature of death. Words such as SPRAY gave a horrific and gore effect, andIt showed the struggle of coming to terms with death. It made me think about how everyone gets on with their life and never stops to think about this kind of thing--perhaps beause we would all be constantly in mourning of the future...

Love reading pieces like this. The overall concept of the piece always keeps the reader interested. A little more length would have made the poem a little bit better IMO.

yu had some inners but then you let the go. This was okay nice job, it was a decent read keep writing.
