I came out of nowhere, I've been here before
I was uncut 'for any one of you was raw
I learned the ropes, I skipped over tokes
Don't read my shit too much or else your mind will overdose

I miss this place
As a kid I used to lace up more than just my shoes
My ways I couldn't choose
Mentality inconsistent with the fact I was a youth
Place me on the stand; affirm I'll say the truth
"I knocked him in his teeth; show the judge your 1 last tooth"

Young offender shit, ask have I even grown?
I've said it all before, a group home aint no home
I'll never lie, but can I tell the truth?
My word is good attorneys should just take it as the proof

Intellect high - "bright kid" as they scold him
I stuck my ass in school to prevent boredom
Orphan minority, "can’t say we didn’t warn him"
If my pops would listen I swear to god my thoughts could floor him
But I guess they right, I was looking for the fight
So I serve the next 9 cuz I hit him more than twice

Ask If I deserve it, nah it doesn’t matter
Blowing shit up, drawing bomb threats like a flower
My minds consumed, more thoughts and inspirations
Then a manifest destiny plans on with neighbor nations

Just to sum up - remember this kid’s name
See him in the spotlight - Grupe Home hall of fame
Humble at best, third person in the worst
His bubble so strong to a slug it couldn’t burst

Damn. Man this is a piece about discovering yourself i think. Its nice, self respect and self assurance. I like the way it was written, from a personal yet third person view. I felt the last line a lot, u've learnt and seen so much that ur ready for anything. Invincible. Bulletproof.

at first i was kinda lost but this is what grabbed me and made everything clear. a venting piece a hot venting piece.

everyone has a story to tell I wonder what yours is?...this piece literally did "come out of nowhere" I sorta stumbled into this poem not knowing what I got myself into...the thoughts of a trouble mind...strong at heart....egotisic and confident with your self as well as your skill....the word choice I dont approve but I have family and friends who cuss all the time so I understand where you coming from...just how you talk....your words and flow spoke the tone in your voice....of being hurt maybe even being alone...serving some unwanted time jail maybe?....motherless/fatherless child at times...parents werent around?....I'm curious to what inspired you to write this...."I came out of nowhere"...almost like your parents were invisible or didnt exist....man thats hard.....Orphan minority....so you been through your trails and tribs....maybe even looked down upon....no silver spoon had to work for yours...I can respect that....your thoughts a group home of inspired maddness....intellect that others cant see because of your appearence....love the last stanza of this piece....not even afraid of death...that ego explode that confidence in yourselve runs thick....stay up man...share some more
