for you I will stay strong, forever, I will NEVER forget our bond
your guidance will take me farther than you could ever dream
this I promise and pray you see such success' I speak on become fullfilled...upon
the understanding of your knowledge, wisdom and love that stitches the seam
that holds together my self, regardless if the sunlights stream can, or cannot, be seen
your influence is the main beam in my structural formation
you helped turn my clay-mation of a man into the polished version of porcelain
as I stand within a prophetic appreciation
of the wisdom I was given and will carry for an infinity of lifetimes that begin
right here, right now! Yet, I'll take the man over the memory any second, minute, hour, and/or day
AKA
I cherish every drip of knowledge that you reign down on me with
still, I don't even know I'm thirsty for your wisdom until I take a sip – a sip that passes through my lips
finding its way to my conscious and subconscious, merging their ever battling rift
even if I'm blind from staring at an eclipse
you bring the pupil back to focus
forever an optimist, those ways have funneled to my vision, lookin for the next bliss
giving me the flame to rise above the melting wax
to such a degree I profess that not through anyone's tax
will I ever lose a piece of your memory
to the gods I swear I'll make it stay with me
me - my mind, body and soul
