Something I put together in a short time... was keystyling with a friend...I'm not an american, but I wanted to try something about this. I'm no genius on the subject or anyhting though, so I don't know how stupid this truly is.
Verse1
I'm getting in shit a lot quicker just cause I'm a Muslim
Su~~~~ious now more then ever when I go through customs
I was never raised by my father and mother
To be the type to carry around a box cutter
Miss liberty, I love her, home of the brave, home of the free
Equality and acceptance is how I feel it should be
Just cause of 9/11, I'm now the new terrorist
You judge that by my color, now how fair is this?
Is it that the tragedy led to sudden spark of patriotism
Or is it just a blind race right into arrogance and racism
This isn't what I want, but we all need one to blame
It's a shame Mohammad is now a generalized, stereotypical name
Whether or not Afghanistan was my home land
Whose to say I think Bin Laden or Uncle Sam is the man
I fear bomb threats just like you
I fear Bush's sudden interest in a draft just like you
Chorus
Follow The Leader is the current game
And Bush is leader, The bringer of shame
And today is the day to say what we want to say
But with a freedom that’s still limited
Whose to say it’ll create a change anyway?
Verse 2
Look at the World Trade from that day, looking like a blunt
Smoking at it’s tip, cause of some little terrorist cunt
Like alot Americans seemed to get high off the smoke
Now there’s more patriots, Hey, Look.. What do ya know!
We need a president who will lead us all to freedom
But whose to say it’s Bush? We don’t even need him
But I find the truth about our president is evident
He spent his time fucking up our present
Creating torment in other corners of this planet
Creating more tragic events while we suffer and manage
Our feelings of resentment of bringing him to office
Now how many percent of Americans would say that's honest?
Storms of political bullshit, now rains down on us
Now who can we trust, with a presidents whose tactics are unjust
If the nations flag was metallic it would surely rust
The second this fuck up Bush were to come in contact with It’s touch
Chorus
Follow The Leader is the current game
And Bush is leader, The bringer of shame
And today is the day to say what we want to say
But with a freedom that’s still limited
Whose to say it’ll create a change anyway?
Verse 3
I don’t know what has gotten into me, but it isn’t sympathy
For all you know, I could of suffered an injury
From a terrorist attack in the not so distant past
I did actually, how about that? I believe in fairness
But not giving someone power who suffers from carelessness
Bush took more from the country then what he gave
And with each day that goes by, more agree with what I say
White or black, Muslim, Hindu, Christian or an atheist
Like that will affect at all how you will be taking this
To Americans, to Canadians, to anyone who cares to listen
Take this as a lesson, a quest, an idea, a belief or mission
The clock is ticking, whose to say I should go and die
For the country without reason, and I should have pride?
All I can ask is why must I die for an empty cause or oil
Or go to Iraq and expect to never again come back
I can now dare to go there or stay on the American Soil
But either way, there’s no escaping all this unnecessary turmoil
Chorus X2
