someimes i just wanna listen to musiq.
not that bass heavy bullshit tha plays in the rotation.
I wanna hear Nina Simone words come out of a voice as smooth as Billie Holiday and have it country fried and smothered in a Ray Charles tune.
I want to hear musiq that could romantize the moon with a sound that could bring
the sun to cool.
Maybe listen to some Barry White backwards to try and figure out the rason why fools fall in love.
Hear octoves so beautiful that anticipating the silence before the first note escapes them speakers will have you on the virge of climax.
I wanna hear bands bang drums that seem to trace heartbeats and strums strings that'll pop like bra's under breast to heavy to hold.
sound tha'll have deaf people poplocking, chords that'll hit you in the face and scream IM ICK JAMES BITCH!!
Musiq so beautiful that it would transverse all scientific boundries and take on a form so fine that first glances would lead to premature ejaculation.
wanna witness the product of somebody using a piano as a pen to write notes to letters.
horns that could rebuild the wall of jericho.
Music that could dry eyes and heal hearts
music that would make make a woman have faih in her man again.
Music that would have a mans actions place faith back in his womans heart.
sounds that would wake the dead and kill the woke.
Sounds that effect your inner ear like a gently licked clitoris and as ridiculous as all that sounds, thats the type of music i hear in my head when i lay eyes on your frame,b/c to the song in my soul there is no more beautiful lyric than your name.

listen to elliot smith and wilco. You wouldnt need to write this poem. HA! okay, this was okay. It was refreshing and new at first and then I felt like you were saying the same thing over and over in a different way. Some good metephors. The worst part of the poem was spelling music with a Q. I guess I just dont understand .... . .?

Have you heard of the singer Musiq?

Anyway this was a pretty good piece. The only thing I didnt like was the rick james line and the structure...you had some lines that were all long then some short...long....short...

Aweeee the last "there is no more beautiful lyric than your name." did it for me with this piece. At first I thought you were talking about the artist MUSIQ and then I read on. Nicely expressed!
