Unearthly whims of wings

To open ones wings to unearthly things
is to feel the terror and the freedom
becoming the same surrender
And of all the free thoughts
another is caged and thrown in the basket
weaving the paper out of the dying tree
some say nothing is new under the sun
but a reflection staring back could it be?
the marking of a unique set of eyes
watching the sun serenade the skys and sea

Is a deep memory enough?
to keep afloat in a faith fur coat
warm of cold winter woes soaked
under the hottest white coals
simmering in the deepest chasm
pain devides delight in orgasm
and together as the dead enter the tomb
the sapling finds room to possess the womb

To open ones wings to unearthly things
is to pray and cry and be aware of death
to draw a breath and picture yourself
one day not being there to encapsulate
the feelings that grew with such poignancy
and faded as all days did like toys
that grew on girls and grew on boys
And as the seemingly unearthly watcher
slowly lights the fuse of self awareness
it seems there is a trapper putting new letters
under the door signed and sealed with a bow
black as the coal that kept you snug
infront of the heat of your parents love

Do you ever feel unearthly things?
when the world hasn't the time to remind
the striking of the bolt from the blue
with a sharp arrow through your physical side
have you felt these thoughts that delve deep
lonely on their own and slipping peacefully
and arkward into vast spaces one ocassionally witnesses
when one notices acute awareness in slight of hand
slight of eye, and slight of thought,
through slight of mind, and slight of height
makes one feel ease in becoming humbly short
So the eyes feel floating somewhat sideways
viewing the highways that stretch being and self
out of proportion absorbing all the distortions
that for a moment come together in unearthly clarity
like the certainty of faith in maternity
you feel at home in the slightest instance
that has no relevance or any kind of significance
to being satisfied in the worn out physical
its the moment a miracle falls through the middle of you

I lie the theme and the ongoing quetion of answering of un earthly things. there were so many elements to this piece that had me going like yea. The self relization and the fact that we all will die someday was a nice little thought in this piece that you expanded upon nicely. How we all think of death and we all know it is coming, but are we truely ready for aour time to come... that was just a little something I got out of one of the stanza's. The imagery was onpoint and I can just see you believe in a lot of what you said as a writer, kind of gives the reader that feeling of..... i dont know... reussurance. Nice drop as always, you bring a spiratual side to a lot of your writing.

this was just amazing...this is the first piece i've ever read by you and I must admit I am amazed...this piece painted a billion pictures at once and they all quickly faded into one another and it was just beautiful....

wonderful piece as ever man, very thought provoking and deep, you know i gotta feel this..

i cant really brak up the poem much because it was all pretty strong.

but

the striking of the bolt from the blue

lonely on their own and slipping peacefully

i enjoyed reading this part

Real nice drop relative.. keep up the months of relentless nice drops after one and another..
