its just like my niqqa told me
over some old e
every niqqa aint your homey
trust only family
if that aint how it is
its how it has to be
tragically nigaz aint shitt
i been through so much
now im stuck in this seat
while my boys continue to beef
they wont listen
sellin coke
being things they aint meant to be
it doesnt make sense
eventually im gonna have to go see
my man boxed up
in a cell or deceased
livin on in memory
i looked at him and said damn,
is that the code of the streets?
this is the way generals speak
generally
i told him time unravels all mysterys
look back upon your own deeds
and find clarity
a solution shall present itself
youll see
maintain your mindstate
and everything shall succeed
i dont mean to be succint
but you gotta stay positive
he nodded
then acknowledge this and said
some soldiers end up
mislead in the head
you gotta mold em early
so you wont have to go through this
personal business
equates to friendships
its like obi wan
watchin his apprentice
thrust into darkness
so much suffering
coveting material things
we both agreed
a man is always king
as long as he is free to see
the moon and stars shining
in the late night sky
then we took it inside
until my ride returned
chronic burned
as we made a right turn
i told my niqqa peace
ill see you later
headed home and put the night down
on a piece of paper

The way you format it out is how Tupac wrote his as well; feelin the message brought forth in this piece and shows you got more than ego-got heart. Pretty good drop.

Good job man. It started off kind slow and I really couldnt get into it, but after I finished reading it I found myself reading the whole thing over again. Keep it up and post more often man.

I loved that line...one that i frequently use...the concept of this poem was wondeful! The style and the way it flowed was what i liked about it most...tight piece!
