I can remember time sitting at home
Cursing myself for not leaving well
enough alone.
I loved you repeatedly even if you didn't feel the same.
I never turned my back on you.
I never even complained.
I think back and realize.
I was too good for you
but all in all it was my lack of self confidence that made me stay with you.
You pushed and shoved me into closed doors and walls
Is this the consequences of love after you fall?
Even when you said you could do better then me,
I stayed by your side.
I can't believe how many nights
I had to hold myself when I cried.
For every time you hurt me.
For every time you made me cry.
Your presence my be only a memory.
But the pain will forever live inside.

the ending made this piece. reading the last 2 lines but especially the last one wow, whoa goose bumps came a crawling down my neck and spine. like mind said it was heartfelt and u could tell that you were heartbroken. good rea.d
