I know I've done a dirty act, so MERGE ME BACK/
To a place where FLOWERS GREW/
And with LOVE everyone SHOWERED YOU/
Where MONEY OR GOLD wasn't in the BIG PACKAGE/
Where you didn't need those things to LIVE AVERAGE/
Back when you could drink water from the LAKES AND STREAMS/
Before people CREATED TEAMS to KILL YOU and TAKE YA BEANS/
I HATE THE SCENE...
THIS MORNIN' THERE WAS A TRAGIC MURDER/
WHAT'S THE WORSE THAT CAN HAPPEN WORSER/
Beef from 10 years ago comes BACK TO HURT YA/
Let's go back further...
Before the CORRUPT GOV'T RULED LAND/
Before the DEVIL FOOL'D MAN/
Before MANDELA went in and the TIME THAT HE SPENT/
A little before SMALL POX killed the NINETY-PERCENT/
Before CRACK GRABBED-THE-FIEND...DURING the time of "I HAVE A DREAM..." ---but was DEFERRED...
Before the SLUG OCCURED to just CORRUPT THE EARTH/
Whatever happened to WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL?!?/
This world wants you to start HATIN' PEOPLE/
I wanna go back BEFORE THE PLANES/
Before everyone's HEART was FULL OF PAIN/
Before we were stuck in the POURIN' RAIN/
Before the BOMBING in OKLAHOMA/
Before being TRAPPED in the ARIZONA/
Before there was a HERD OF COTTON...and to MY PEOPLE their WORDS WERE ROTTEN/
Lets go back before the EARTH WAS ROTTEN...
I wanna go back where this world was OKAY TO LIVE/
When it was a nice PLACE FOR KIDS/
Before people would BRAKE IN YA CRIB...KILL YOU and RAPE YA KIDS.../
Before the SNAKE COULD INSIST/ EVE who ATE THE FORBID/
ADAM who GAVE HIS RIB...LETS GO BACK...
