identity crisis
who is the stranger in the mirror glaring back at me ?
with roughed up hair
slept in skin
and a gap between her teeth.
whose circles lap her eyes while pores dance around her cheeks
how did someone once so strong evolve to something weak?

maybe the holes in my pockets allowed moral to leak...
common sense- emotions?
i must've dropped on some dark street.
there is nothing to hold aside
it's cold inside- i shudder when i breathe
and am nauseous from tasting frostbite that shakes down each time i speak.
tongue to cheek
it seems thoughts are slung between my teeth
shooting icicles into the hearts of those climbing in my tree
so i break away my limbs hoping that they'll leave
but instead the end result is that "they fall for me"
so gracefully i pick them up bending twines of honesty

resenting my wind-shift temperment and cursing that bitch eve
who embeded in the female genetics and everlasting need
to try to find a better way to make herself happy

matter fact
your perfection reminds me of all i'm lacking

crying as i cross a foundation thats quickly cracking
i reach deep down to surface everything that needs extracting.
unclogging sin from my arteries to keep my heart from attacking
now all thats left is a shell and a shattered hope of "ever aftering"

i'm on the brink of tears though the glass image is laughing
so i scream to overpower and hear my questions over her cackling
"what the fuck is happening ?! is really what im asking
i lost myself along the way ... where do i start back tracking?
