its been a long time.
i havent been here in awhile..and i havent really been writin...but i jus wrote this and i would like to know what people think bout it ..soo here it goes......:
COUSIN
Smiling to ease the pain,
even though she has nothing to gain.
She sits and thinks deep,sad thoughts,
that this so-called "life" has brought.
All alone, she sits and cries.
Thinking and hoping that she dies.
Then she hears a voice that starts to speak,
even though to her it sounds so weak.
"Cousin,dearest,what is wrong?
Why do you keep singing this sad sad song?
Wont you please come out and play with me?
It might be raining now,
but the sun will shine. You'll see.
Just smile. It may hurt,but it will make it better
If it doesnt, then write a letter.
Release your feelings any other way.
Just dont go. I would miss you every day."
She looked into those warm brown eyes,
sat up on her bed with a heavy sigh,
"Yes the rain is pouring down.
Dont you see? I feel like I'm about to drown.
The sun may shine some day soon,
I'd even take the bright rays of the moon.
Just as long as this rainstorm will clear,
then, I wouldnt have nothing to fear.
But untill then,yes,I'll go out and play,
lifes to short to let it waste, as you would say.
Someday soon, your heart will break and bend,
and thanks to you, I'll be there to help you mend"
Faith restored, not all is lost
It didnt even come with some great big cost.
Each will help the other through tough times,
and help guide one another through life's crimes.
