Life = Death
Withering like a rose plucked from it’s surroundings
I slowly die
As my colour fades away with my feelings
No longer can I cry
Forgotten for years,
I’ve been thrown in the trash
Drained of all tears,
it seems that no child wants me back
Time stacked against me,
only memories of youth
Shaken up from destiny,
all my thorns have came loose
I no longer get over played,
my life’s been cut short
Where’s the rest of my bouquet,
I need there support
I helped them grow to who they are, where are they all now
Making there own garden hopefully, the way I showed them how
Wreathed to death, I’m getting closer to the dirt
At least my legacy will live on as long as my seeds keep giving birth.

Heartfelt lines there. Emotional piece, seems like a vent. Imagery was good. Keep it up

Imagery was quite decent, could've been used a little more frequent, though. I felt the title fit the piece quite well, as well. You explained your feelings on the exact topic and held your opinion on how 'life = death'. You can be dead, while your living and living, while your dead in hearts and minds, na'mean? Overall, this was some nice material that was worth reading, mos def. My blessings..

good job. i liked this..especially the ending...one of those all hope is not lost despite the sadness of it all type pieces. i liked the whole, there is no beginning nor end thing either...life-death...death-life hope to see more from yah.
