Uncommon
I'm no longer on the top of the food chain
because I made the mistake of trading punches with a fools brain
He couldn't comprehend logical ability
I couldn't comprehend inexcusable stupidity
I tried to hold a conversation yet he couldn't hold his attention
Tried being his friend and yet he couldn't see my intentions
Tried to be the voice of reason to senseless ears
but what I tried was classified as a failure by fellow peers
so I steer clear of his kind and search for more of my own
only to find out his are easier to find while mine aren't shown
because we embrace the shade and prefer to stay alone
and keep our distance like the opposite voice on the phone
so in other words he is a common man in a common society
yet he lacks any form of common sense to grasp reality
but I'm the 1 thats type-casted as the 1 that isn't sane
and ask to change by people who are the cause for my disdain
so when I came and I saw, I couldn't conquer...
all I could do is shake my head and ponder
If ignorance is really bliss and I'm the lone man out
and if so will it be worth jeopardizing what I'm all about
