Chapter 6

As a pedal fell a tear fell in unison
they say a great lost is fuel to men
but i rather lose a friend than lose you again
so i pretend that your next to me
put a halt on the circumstances
and continue to battle destiny

because your fate was to have no start...
just a conclusion
mine consisted of rugged hearts,
a result of loves illusion
a life embodied in confusion
gave my life a proper definition
because when i had no pot to piss in
and my mind became a prison...
the thought of you changed my whole disposition
your apparition was a valued addition
to a man you never had a chance to call father

O GOD WHY DO I BOTHER

OH THE PAIN....
que sufre un padre sin hijo*

no chance to sing rock a bye baby
because there was no tree top just rock bottom
and you see darling thats the problem
there were no first steps because you never crawled
no first words because you never spoke
no first breath because you never lived
and unfortunately thats just the way it is
and I'm sorry
and i love you
and....
and i don't know what else to tell you
but give me a chance to make it right
give me strength baby thats all i ask
don't look at the monster behind the shield
look at the man behind the mask
know that what I'm doing is all for you
and that theres just no other way
know that when the smoke finally clears
you and i will finally play
say goodbye to all the tears
let them be frozen in times of yesterday
as i slay the dragon you know as mother
once my lover but never more
who stepped foot through a glass door
that i should have slammed in her face
but i wont burden you with that memory
so let this one take its place
oh val what i wouldn't do to have you near
whether along side or on my shoulders
while your wearing that dress i like
the red one with flowers all over
a rose to compliment my rose
it only seems just
and a rose by any other name
will still smell as sweet in the gust
so remember daddy loves you
we'll speak in my next depression
you'll always be a part of me
the only warmth in my possession

wow man
beautiful heartfelt poem
but a little repition like what everyone is already familiar with
"cuz when i had no pot to piss in
my mind became a prison"-
just to keep it rhyming


-still hot though
this was like a double homage type poem
first it seemed like someone you lost like close friend
then it sounded like an aborted child
but this was very dope,nonetheless
