Heartbeat of a Legend

It starts with a dream

which is followed by overcoming fear...

and disregarding what everyone else says or thinks

Because you know what you're capable of
Doubts have to be tossed aside only positive enery must resound

And with each step you believe in your cause
You fight for your birth right
Only with success will your purpose ever be achieved

To be different....to achieve
But we all want to be remembered
Our names carved in the souls of those to come
To be legends...to be great

But wanting and achieving are eons apart


What makes a legend a legend

Is the will to overcome all...

To Fight until that dream is made reality

That passion to be an individual among the flock of sheep

To stand out to lead...instead of follow
We all want it..but many decide it will always be but an impossible dream
so they continue to follow the life someone set for them
To be the person someone else decided they should be

Fear...the greatest obstacle

Fear fom which

Only the the great men and women...the murders...the legends...inspirations to us all
Have escaped
No matter whether good or evil
They were better than us all
The held on to that dream and carried it to their death bed

They lead...we still follow
We are the background
They shine among us...soon to be forgotten
While long after death the heartbeat of a legend
can still be heard
You just need to listen
and you'll remember....look inside you'll see
The person you're too afraid to be

fear is the greatest obstacle....
overall i liked it but i need to be in a certain mood to try to dive into somethin like this
i want to get back into the routine of reading and writing
this was sort of a to be contiued though
lots of explanation but really didnt go to deep into what you were explaining

This is basically one big thought which i've been having...haven't really finished thinking it through yet but i decided to use the idea in order to start writing again since i stopped for a long time and i figured if i don't start somewhere i'll never start again and probably be walking around with all these thoughts in my head.
Thank for the reply though when i'm finished thinking everything through i'll probably post the final thing.

when i was young, I was privlaged to meet Maya Angelou. She said to me (about writing), to write down your thoughts is next to impossible, they come too fast and too many, but to write down an idea, that's writing.
