"From my words to Bob's" (Dedicated to Bob Marley)

I was messin around and writing while listening to a Bob Marley cd. And it seems like the songs i was listening to kept getting in my head so i just started adding them to what i had already put on the page and this is what i came up with. It might be a little weird i don't know but had a good time writing this joint.



Watch as pen swipes perceive perception between a paper's lines of thought
Where i write through many moments of meditation
And contemplations correspond with my word links
Which is why the mighty sphinx still lays down as i command
And men still try to ban my words as contraband
And i came from that 5th planet to spread the truth
I got many years of wisdom that's why the romans call me Zeus
And i use my words to write revolutions out of the confusion that is life
And i've also had a revelation on how to continue the preservation of poetry
And i am the master mind, poetic mind, writing rhymes for those who can't get their point across any other way
And i have come to bring those fools back who have led themselves astray
And i wield a wide array of reckless antics to keep you affixed on my scripture
And i shall never cease my illustrations until you finally get the picture
Pictures penciled through the style of sketch, which have transformed themselves into graffiti
If need be i shall radiate the wonders of wordsmiths caught in my past
And i will become the future of the present's now
And i shall scour the earth for the rebirth of true hip-hop
Which seems to be caught in the melodies of Bob Marley's "One Drop"
And while i sleep he whispers from the poster on my wall that only "Time will tell"
So i try to pass time by singing my own "Redemption Songs"
Only to learn that the "Sun is Shining" and the weather is sweet
The perfect ingridients to have a "Soul Shakedown Party"
And tomarrow I shall begin my quest to one day become a "Soul Rebel"
As i spin my poetic web through Bob Marley's treble
And hopefully i'll be able to give ya'll some of his "Trenchtown Rock"
As i get up and stand up to this "Rastaman's Chant"
I will become iron lke the lion in zion
As i try to inspire you to "Lively up Yourself"
Because not everyone goes to jail after they "Shot the sheriff"
Because they'll all remember that you didn't shoot the deputy
Depite your apologies in hopes that no woman will cry
And the government has the nerve to say that there is "So much Trouble in the World"
Knowing that they account for most of it
Whle others try to vouch for you and ask if "You could be loved"
But all these "Crazy Baldheads" want it "War"
And there's no way i'll be "Waiting in vein" in the midst of your own trials and tribulations
I'm gonna sit on park benches and watch "Three little birds"
Learning that i possess my own "Natural Mystic"
And hopefully my readers will become followers in this "Exodus"
As i lead them in a journey to find that real hip-hop
Because i want to have people "Jammin"
Rambling through the words that you couldn't make sense of
Patua spoken tough but you still gave Bob love
These are many words written to reach your brain tissue
So when you're asked who's the greatest we'll all agree on the issue

period...hands down....I saw this unreleased concert fotage at some disclose special showing and it blew me away....they said their gonna use that show to open up the new century....he really is the essence of what its all bout

your poem touched on his magic so I felt it.....the first half kinda lost me didnt really feel it....but once you said the Bob poster talking line it was raw from there on

Very original.. I'm Loving This. Maybe Because Im A Full Blood Jamaican And Rarely Do I See Others Shedding The Light On A The Magnificant..
