Peace God

Peace, God.
Waiting for the life of the Tree, God.
Waiting for the Spring and the Fall of the leaves, God.
I hear a whisper of a distant soul
Rhythms of a distant drum speak a distant code.
Slip my toes into two shoes; lose what news proves
Walk outside past the paper to breathe in new truth.
Habitually drop my loose change in a cup
Or do I walk past as I call the poor man's bluff.
"Help a brutha out for food. Anything would be blessed."
Feel the sensation of warm lungs with a cold breath
Of the brisk morning, what will I see this morning?
I hit the pavement with the leaves of the peace adorning
Ask for your anointing
Peace, God. Where will you be, God?
Wherever that's at, that's where I wanna be, God.
Whatever, black. I just hope I see you before you leave, God.
Entered this world a Soul, but I don't want to leave lost.
Which is odd, because at present, I am.
At present, I'm on the platform sitting, waiting for the tram.
Do what a brutha do, hustle just like every other do.
Whole game is to win while the others lose.
Reached in my bag, only dimes and nickels I had.
But I was rich, because the change was in the denomination of sacs
I stop at Fifth ave, bag of sacs and zig zags
Packaged for cats who wanna know where them spliffs at
End of the day, end of the yay, I'm way paid.
Poor man is still poor, ain't a damn thing changed.
Still got cold air in my lungs, last breath isn't done.
Walk in the door, News still on that nine one one.
I count my paper, roll one more and inhale the vapors
Pen another poem, tired of ghetto capers
My life is hurtin' til pain travels in hearses
Too inspired by rap, ask medallion verses
But as time goes on, my whole time reverses
Another day, another holler, call it a rehearsal.
Life travels in cycles of unbroken trends
Fams with broken ends
We can only hope it mends
I hope we're kin, 'cause for all this lost hope we're in?
Your lost kids hopin' salvation is openin'
But I got my hustle to the point I'm not lost in the tussle
Til the prison system has me and I'm lost for a couple
What's a brutha to do? Struggle to prove.
Thuggin' will lose.
Can't be lucky forever so I'm buggin' with You.
So I still floss. But at the same time I'm still lost.
Left in a trial of life, lookin' for some peace, God.

Title: Life

day break...birth...the sun grows from an infant to a child
growing in height, growing older as the time passes
birds chirp and welcome the brightness of the childs presence
playing with such happiness among everything it casts itself upon
toying with crayons as it casts it's beautiful drawings and sticks them to the sky
amongst them are oranges, grapefruit red, white clouds and blue
time passes along, the child now grows to a teenager
flirting amongst the wildlife, spreading it's heat of passion
as it's hormones flow through it's veins,
the climax of life...adult hood...maturity allows for it to see everything clearly
and the opportunity to spread itself to all things sharing it's wealth
time goes on unfortunatley and the adult grows to become an elder
wise in the mind but weak physically as its no longer able to spreads itself amongst everything
weak but forever creative it brings the crayons it used as a child and colors the sky again
as a last effort to spread its beauty among everything it casts itself upon
and finally rests to the beautiful songs of the birds mourning and the lightning bugs
illuminating themselves like candles in memory of the sun's life
life is like the span of a day, the sun is born and dies
life is short, enjoy the life of what the sun brings

Often the world shivers at our turns
Mentally we have decreased to raise the physical
When were the slices united
The steel grip of reality crushes the feeble dreams of young
Time is at a standstill for the warriors of our time
Do leaders promote lies to gather the peoples faith?
When does the fog of ignorance rise to reveal the light of reality
Weak are the few pebbles against the stream
Strong is the damned against the good
Where does this world go if Hell has expanded to all?
Greatest trick belongs to the Devil
Greatest evil may belong to Man
Greatest good lies in the hearts of Man
Pick axes and shovels needed to reach the gold inside
Yet we are not willing to work or to dig
Perfect gems grow slowly till discovered
Only to be shaped, scratched, and scarred to the holders will
In this time all moves to fast
But the evil Man does follows just as fast
If the past is history for the people to learn
We are ignorant blind and dumb...

I crumble with the slip of my fingers, as I penetrate the empty carton that steps between the limitless blows, upside the pavement. I definitely cannot figure out the empty hole that stops the heartbeat of a baby's heart, but I can definitely release the tension that injects into the core, of my opportunity. You might think to yourself, what is this person speaking about, I might repeat my self, and concentrate on the emotional progression; I need not to speak from the moving pen of the moving wrist, but from the openhanded caskets that slips. Under the microscopic microtone flips, I am flipping my bliss, in reverse of premature stanzas. That brings peoples to the dangling knees of mine, is that a feeling? Alternatively, is that a fault, not in a writer, but in the person that poses a skill, that intertwines with flees, you dig, the majority of things that you see on TV?
Or when you read this are you blinded by the light that I spring open the brain that daggers the cranium of everlasting symmetric perplexity of yet another **********...

Everyone is looking for their chance to speak
Except of course those that think theyre bland or bleek
and yes, I understand unique, but i've figured a formula
as well as a grand technique. The key term is Empathy
because communication seems to concern us entities
Why? Do we love grammer and sentance speech?
Do we learn necessities?
Why do we define words that get on our nerves, like "Ketamine"
See,
in a group of peers we wait through peoples monologues
then wait through the jokes and refrences from the entorouge
then respond with our own, move on or wait for the stoned auto-stop
but conversations are getting boring so why do you "yo" alot
I've discoverd that life really is like a spider web
we spend each day explaining and making friends, then fly to bed
so when we wake up, we can tell our favorites what last night had held
but if you wake up and the sky was red?
would you apply yourself?

My theory is we talk to people to copycat and spit refrences
in a group of people i'll smirk, smile, or frown but never deliver sentances
because, to be honest, I'm stil debating what the definition of "better" is
and why people feel the need to include it in opinionated messages
But I don't write to you to flaunt my selfishness

I write to tell you to stop conversing out of boredom;
If you have time, God gave it to you so we could get more done
So I'll stop now and begin only when the chords strum....
