im new around here... im not quite sure what the deal is with people writing poems that are "in response" to other poems theyve seen on here...is it just that they were inspired? is it like, a thing on here ? fill me in...thanks! sorry if this is a stupid question......

no problem with it at all....just wondering.........but i do move to revise one of the forum rules.........it says u can only have 2 pieces on the front page at a time, which i understand so that poets dont try to dominate the forum.......HOWEVER.......i think it is quite obvious that if one poem is alll the way at the bottom of the page, and is obviously dead, adding another in the mix of things should not be against the rules....
what if a member has two on the first page then someone decides to take a ride into the past and digs up some old post and reply to it....then that gets closed ? makes no sense to me...
