i've had "the rose that grew from concrete" book for a few years now.. it's really good.. what's tight about it is.. that the poems are scanned right from the paper that he used.. so, it looks awesome

its a good book, i stood in the bookstore and read it b/c i was too broke to buy it lol pac was an excellent writer and the emotion his poetry carried, much like most of his music, is what made it even better.

iceheart you should be able to find it at most bookstores, check the big ones like barnes & noble, or you should be able to order it off amazon, peraphs find it on ebay.

I got the book about 3 monthes ago.. it's a really great book, tho it is kinda hard to find.

I like the way they mirrored the poem. (copies of the actual writing on one side and the typed up version on the other)

Tupac was a very skilled individual. One of the best rappers ever, and a damn good poet.

LOL.. and oddly enough, I said the same thing someone else said about the mirrored poems. Somehow I dind't see that. Oops.

That's exactly what I did. I found the book, and it was so small..then I looked at the price..and well I just didn't have that much money so I stood in the store, right from where I got it off the shelf and read it.


I do have the CD though, I like it.

I have the book and the CD, and I enjoy the book A LOT MORE!! on the CD a bunch of the artists change lines/words some, it is their interpretation of Pac's poem.... my suggestion is to get the book first

another cool thing is the foreward, i usually never read forewords on books but this one was good, it tells you when the poems were written, where, and it gives a good background of how it all happened.

last week i was getting my hair braded and the girl had the book,i was just going to read a couple poems....i ended up reading the whole book in like 45 min......everytime i turned the page and read the title...i couldnt help but to read it......he never fails to amaze me with all of his work.,poetry,movies,music,interview s....he was a great human.
