One day, a white man took advantage of another's rights and
persecuted him with avengance because he didnt like him
or, to be a little more honest, all though its seems a little moronic
he didnt like his skin tint, and it wasnt that this proud man was thin skinned
but he was being dehumanized right in front of his kid when
the white guy, about 5'11, small in stature
began shouting and spitting on the other one that he called a bastard
to my surprise, he shrugged, and he wasnt appauled but laughter
came out of the mans mouth, and started puttin his hand out
in a sign of respect, but if you looked over the white man didnt accept
and he began reeling some threats, some of which the black dude didnt expect
to hear in front of child, some of em wild, then he called him a n. igger
then all of a sudden out of the commotion a sound, i saw as he snickered
it was an awe full of picture, defiant in nature, seeing someone trying to take your
pride, your back bone, Mr. Jones suggested that the other go back home
because he's seen his kind before, a regular admiral in this kind of war
but Dave wasnt gonna let a get the upper hand so he tried some more
started speaking of slave ships and about how the confederate flag waves
red white and blue , it wasnt quoted in past tense
and he made sure to emphasize how black was notably absent
Mr. Jones still standing tall listened all the while, and tried to calm his child
he was being prosecuted for being born black but hadn't gone to trial
this was his neighbor, N.igger, i raped your daughter"
his face intensified, went stone cold like those thrown to slaughter
he kept his tone even, wouldnt budge in this ignorant game of mental chess
"Sir, youve spoke freely for quite some time, is your turn over yet?"
"As a matter of fact it is", the black man stepped and began to walk
took a deep breath, calmed himself, rose his hand an talked
"sir, you can cherish your conferedarte flag, when i look its tethered to rags
i didnt want to mention this because its really not better to brag
when your so much more inteligent, ur a fool an coward
dont you realize we arent scared and if we dont believe in what it represents to you that i loses its power?
you would never think of that, so its funny to me
to see someone just to eat has to bum in the streets
i dont mean to be rude, but you should start limiting sailor-
talk, cuz on this block we live in town houses you live in a trailor
park, yourself parallel to reality, your opposite reflections a parody
im taking out beliefs, cuz that flags nothin more then dye and fiber
