i've encountered sleeples nights, impeded when i reach for light
i seek advice, denied, cause i cannot begin or seem to write
i've freed my mind, at least i've tried, but suprise, the themes i like
seem to vanish and i still cant understand the reason why
please supply me with the guidence when it comes to writing words
i see my paper but it vapors when i try to splice a verse
excitements worse, cause when i think im cured the dynamite just burst
inside my mind exerting force that forms a sacraficing curse
i need to analyze, insert, and work a storm into the brain
see usually it's fluent but its just unfortunate today
i shut my door so i can make, it quiet, shortly theres a change
where a sentence forms a paragraph tranforming to a page
sort of boring as i wait, i bite my nails so much they bleed
mother screams that dinners ready irritation smothers me
the interuption squeezes me i eat and sit uncomfortably
and then a bunch of these conjuctions leave a topic just for me
so i jump with glee, confusing mom, excused from chops and taters
and then from the chair i run upstairs to jot the thoughts on paper
operator, hold my calls im bout to write exposing all
and then it hits me i forgot, my head gets dense as bowling balls
dozing off, my focus drops, i soon begin, to move within
a mental state that causes contemplation to be used a gain
my room is dim, the papers blank and thats when i consume a glimpse
of a topic full of knowledge you could put into a script
proof is pitched, writers block, is just a word deprived of thoughts
if been tought this through the torment of myself when i cannot
find a plot or a topic where my words can rhyme alot
and achieve a meaning at the end as soon as writing stops
i can jot a couple sentences and hope that something sparks
especially this late at night, you see i wrote this in the dark
see i was hoping i could start but the approach it broke apart
and i was close to giving up until i focused and embarked
the corrosion was too sharp, my verse was done, i hit the hot tub
kind of stressed i just relaxed and thought about the stuff i got done
lost a battle, told some stories, wait a minute i forgot one
had writers block for my own tournament and this is what i thought of
