...I've always believed this. Truthfully, I've always thought Snoop was overrated... he was ill on "Deep Cover," his verses were classic, but he was AIGHT on The Chronic.

Kurupt RIPPED every track he was on... his flow, mic presence, and rawness was jarring... then Rage was dope as shit, too... The Chronic was basically an introduction for Snoop, but Kurupt was like a scene stealer in a movie, outdoing the leading man.

In order of illness of the rappers on the Chronic:

1. Kurupt
2. Rage
3. Snoop
4. Dre
5. RBX
6. Daz

I agree. Kurupt's verses were all classic. Especially on Lyrical Gangbang. That shit was ill. I loved his verses on Doggystyle too.

But yeah, from '92-6 Kurupt was amazing.

I still prefer Snoop on The Chronic, though. His lyrics were at their best, he had that flow... Damn.

But Kurupt was lyrically the best.

I think Kurupt was the star of the Chronic cd, his verse on Lyrical Gangbang is the shit. Kurupt wasn't really on that many songs on The Chronic. I wish Dre's Puffin On Blunts & Drankin Tanqueray song would've been on The Chronic. Kurupt ripped that shit. I play that song a lot.
