shit that you see all the time and it really pisses you off.

i hate it when a character in a movie has to deliver a speech and it has a close up of him supposedly delivering the speech only to zoom out to show him talking to a mirror ro some shit. gay as hell.

There was some shit floating round the next a few years about bout all the movie cliches. Like how in a PG-13 movie or whatever all the bed sheets are made in an L shape. So that it covers the lower part of a guy, and the upper part of the chick.

Also, rather than speak their own language, foreigners will instead choose to speak English in a very bad accent.

I saw that horrible movie Evita recently. I like how everyone speaks English, but the signs they make are written in Spanish. I guess they sucked at Spanish in high school like I did, and can only read it and not speak it.

My all time hate of a film cliche is when someone is dying and delivers some speech, only to die as they are about to say something important..

That was my main beef with Battle Royale even tho its such a great film..

i can't think right now.

but I dislike serious parts in movies where the dialogue has 15 seconds of silence between every sentence.

the exaggeration of prison life in movies.

b movies where the hardcore street nigs have one or two goofy looking honks in their crew.

fight scenes where the punches are clean and the protagonist is taking 15 people one by one...like they wouldn't just jump his faggot ass at once.

Close-ups are good for valid reasons, because the establish an emotional connection between the character and the audience. It's not a cliche' it's a standard. If overdone though, then yeah I can agree with you.

I remember one Jackie Chan movie...swear to god...EVERYONE got knocked thru some sort of glass...windows, displays, etc.
