Sorry homey but I'm going to highly disagree with you..l Now I do understand your circumstance and I shall continue to argue against your ruling.
Batman Begins told the story of how Bruce Wayne got his fear of bats, how he lost his parents, how got his gadgets, how Alfred came into the picture, how he got his martial art skill, how Gotham City made it's turn for the worst, and even showed the process of how he created the batsuit...
Special Effects? 85% of that movie had no special effects.. It was either storyline or martial arts.
Really the only special effects was the batmobile (which was also explained by the movie) and when Scarecrow's toxin was used.
It also showed the connection between bruce wayne and batman and how bruce wayne could never kill anyone, thus batmans weakness.... And furthermore he showed how he can get his revenge.. "I won't kill you...but I don't have to save you either"
So In my not so humble opinion, the Batman Begins movie relied on it's intense story line, and was directed towards an adult audience.
It also brought to me a connection between real life character Frank Serpico and make-believe comic character Bruce Wayne...
