one of the most underachieving movies i've ever seen...

the ending climactic scene was done especially badly

penn and kidman were good in their roles, though

and, i wish movies like this would stick with the tradition 'the manchurian candidate' (the original) established, which for starters means trading the pulsating modern "techno" beats in moments of suspense and importance with short and simple chilling sound effects.
