Last movie you watched?
Alley has the song thread, so it's only fair this forum gets this one.
Add comments as well.
Just watched Twelve Monkeys for the first time last night. I'm a sci fi fanatic anyway, so I liked it. The twists were pretty sweet. I was working with the theory that the psychiatrist was nuts at first, but I would've been disappointed if it turned out that way.

Twelve Monkeys is bad ass. I really loved that movie.
The last one I saw was Valkyrie which was pretty cool. Tom Cruise is a wack job but he plays a strong part in that one. Basically about how these germans tried killing Hitler and about how close they came to succeeding.
Ima check out Defiance tonight. That looks awesome.
Can you tell I love world war 2 hahaha.

the wrestler
an absolute must-see in my book... mickey rourke lived up to the hype
a great battle for the best actor oscar between him and sean penn (milk) since rourke copped a golden globe for best actor in a drama and sean penn got the screen actors guild for best male lead
i have a feeling penn will get it though due to its fitting the whole political theme of the year and the fact he actually had more dialogue to work around

Pretty interesting and funny movie. The "death to Bill Maher" text message, Scientology rant, and everything about the Mormons were my favorite parts. Oh, and when he was showing all those gadgets made due to the loophole in the rules. That's insane.
Only thing I really disagree with him about is that he says evolution is an open and shut case, when really it isn't. There are new theories everyday presented about our origins.

How did you manage to watch Twelve Monkeys for the first time, 14 years after it came out?
Re-watched Samurai X ...which is incredible, if you're into Anime.
Also recently watched Step Brothers and the new Indy film.
both good. Step brothers was genuinely funny and although The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull doesn't stack up to the previous films, it was still enjoyable.
just got Death Note(live action film)...I'm wary of animes being adapted to live action, but it has high ratings and good reviews.

I'm really not the biggest movie/television buff. I certainly like both, but it's all relatively low on my priority list. There are a lot of things I've yet to watch that I think would surprise people.

I saw bride wars in theaters last night... and cried... even though it's a comedy, weddings always make me cry.

I'm still yet to see 12 Monkeys.
Last I watched was Role Models. Really dissapointing.
