And why did Venom sound like Carnage? I don't remember him ever sounding like that in the cartoons. That damn movie was so backward.

^Actually no, but something that simple could have been avoided. Just seem like I was watching a whole new character from what I remember from the comics and cartoons. Now I knew from the beginning the series wasn't going to be like the comics and the cartoons...that's just too much shit. But I think they could have atleast made the characters on point (Venom for the most part). I was trying my best to figure out where the hell I seen the dude that played Venom from. I get home and see this man on That's 70 Show . Topher(sp) Grace? Was Eddie Brock ever that little? I don't know man. I still loved the first two and I think this one was pretty good too. I just don't like how they did Venom really. I think they prolly should have just had Venom in it alone, instead of sharing it with Sandman and New/Green Goblin. Maybe even Sandman alone or Green Goblin. With all them folk in it they really didn't give Venom's storyline any justice. Sandman's was good even though they changed his up a bit.

But I'm just rambling though. Movie was good

The general rumor is that Sam Raimi never really liked Venom and had no intention of including him in this franchise, but studio pressure forced his hand, so he worked him in and out as weakly as possible.

Yeah it was corny. And many things could have been much better.

Still superior to most everything in the theater. I might see it a second time.

At the least, no one should feel ripped off after seeing it.
