The main reason these new Spiderman movies SUCK compared to the 90s cartoon series...

....man im chillin watchin reruns of the 12 year old Spiderman cartoons, and WOW it's no wonder the new movies just doesn't stand up to it.

Spiderman was a wisecracking, sar castic dude who never seem to take things too seriously. He was never dark, he was always making fun of his enemies during a fight, always ready to verbally lighten the situation. That's how he was in the comics, and they faithfully applied that to the show.

But I mean, look at Spiderman 2 for example, and notice how Peter parker doesnt say SHIT when he's doing something. He just moaps and groans all day, then u see the flashy CGI effects of him swinging around the city, and WHAM theres ur spidey.

The wise cracking Spiderman would make the movies better but they are still pretty good movies even compared to the cartoon.

they are good movies...you also have to take into consideration, these movies are also based upon when he just becomes spiderman...it takes a while to develop swagger, and become comfortable in one's body...

but i udnerstand where ur coming from.

WAAAAY too much focus on that shitty love story. The movie basically IS a love story...fucking lame.

and...

Shitty sissy-ass villains.
