Chronicles of Riddick's ending is too bad ass.....

the first time i seen this movie couples years ago, i didnt actually expect him to be the next ruler or w/e

am i the only one who enjoyed this ending?

Waiting patiently (not really) for the next one. He was quoted as saying its coming. I can't wait! I love this series. Love Riddick, he is such a great character. And yes I love the ending. A bit dissapointed we wont see the Purifier in the next one. I like Linus Roach.

I have a few movies that I watch as I work out. I rotate, and Pitch Black and CoR are in the rotation. I know them by heart.

In fact, I was just on another thread telling people that if I had a little girl I'd name her Ziza :-) although I didn't mention why.

This ending was okay, but now what are they gonna do

he's the ruler so it doesn't make sense...if he's the anti hero then, then he won't be as cool as the actual full fledged villain

He never was an actual villan. Thats not how I see it anyway. He just does what he has to do to survive. Missunderstood maybe lol. I think it will be interesting to have an army on his side, but I don't think the character will change much, he doesn't have to anyway.

I never said he was a villain, I said "Anti hero". It's a hero who doesn't show heroic qualities. He's not noble, he's not righteous, he's even murderous, but he can be your friend as well.

I'm talkin about the sequel where if he's the leader of the soul-stealing Necromongers, and when he goes "keep what u kill" at the end of COR, then it's pretty much a foreshadow that he's gonna become darker and more villainous.

Well, as the leader of the Necros he would have the power to stop the "conversions"...

I don't know...I guess we will find out...there is some talk about that he may be going to find Kyra/Jack...the 3rd will take us back to Furia...

It was much better than it was given credit for...my husband was determind not to like it 'cause Vin Diesel was in it but I became addicted so eventually he watched it and loved it. Btwn that, the Pacifier and Find me Guilty I can now watch Vin Diesel movies without hearing about it...Anyway...

Remember hard...he goes looking for Kyra in Necropolis and fights Lord Marshall...Vaco goes in for the kill 'cause you keep what you kill and he wanted the throne...LM split himself from his astral self (I guess thats what it is) and just as Vaco was going to nail him on one side and Riddick on the other LM pulled himself together and Riddick got the kill and therefor the throne...It ended with Riddick on the throne and the Necros bowing to him...Good stuff

The Elemental woman prophesized that whoever defeats the Necromonger leader becomes the new leader, and in the end, Riddick was the one to do it. He literally sits on his throne right after killing him, and the rest of the Necromongers all bowed down to him.

This is true, if the sequel pulls though.

Be great to see an underverse type reality, i'm sensing it's gonna be something like pitch black. even COR had pitch black elements, so how could they not include one here too.

Yeah, I think there was talk about it being a little closer to Pitch Black...can't remember exactly where I read it, could have been people speculating rather than an interview with VD
