Freedom Writers
Looks like a really well done movie. It's got Hilary Swank in it playing a "true story" role where she helps ease racial/gang tension at a school in LA.

I watched the trailer on You Tube and found that they have forums where people can address topics from the movie...pretty interesting.

I guess everyone had their opinion, but from what I've read from early screeners of the movie (such as on IMDb), the people that saw it early had a lot of praise for the film.

yeah, this would be an amazing movie if it werent for

dangerous minds and the 1,000 movies that are just like it

but hey, every once and a while someone is able to take a cliche storyline and make dopeness out of it, so there's hope
