I want to make sure I get each card up a week before the event, so everyone has enough time to see it and doesn't complain about not having enough time to participate. If you have bets outstanding on Saturday's card though, you have to wait until after those fights to bet on this event.

Manny -260 Miguel +200

SeeSon's preview

In this highly anticipated match up to see who gets to become PBF's next victim, we are treated to two fighters with contrasting styles. Pacman is an aggressive fighter with good footwork and solid head movement, while Cotto is a devastating counter puncher with a huge strength advantage. This has all the makings for FOTY. The fight should play out with Manny coming out strong and dominating the first 3 rounds. After round 3 or 4 Cotto should be able to find his timing and learn how to effectively counter Manny's big left straight. This has the potential to be a great chess match with two of the sports elite showcasing their talent. There are some questions that this fight will resolve. Is Miguel Cotto broken and shot after the beating he took at the hands of Margarrito? Is Manny too small to compete with an elite welterweight? What affect will having an inexperienced trainer have on Cotto against the number 2 p4p fighter in the world? Did all of the distractions have a negative affect on Manny's ability to train? All of these questions and more will be answered on Nov 14. We will see an excellent display of boxing and we are in store for an epic battle.

Why Manny can win: If Manny can come out the gates quickly and overwhelm Cotto in the first four rounds of the fight, he could either KO him or get such a huge lead on the scorecards that Cotto won't be able to catch up.

Why Miguel can win: He's an elite welter and has devestating power. If he survives the initial onslaught he will be in an excellent position to wear Manny down with body shots and finish him late in the fight.

What will happen: Miguel is going to send Manny back to the Phillipines to pursue his career after boxing, singing love ballads on TV in the Phillipines.

Although I will admit I haven't caught as much Cotto or boxing in general as I'd like, my prediction is either Manny by decision or maybe a tko victory by about round 7 or 8. In other words, I think Cotto will survive the initial onslaught but will eventually break.
