How did you see the machida-shogun fight round by round?

round 1 : Dead Even

round 2 : Dead Even

round 3 : Edge Machida

round 4 : Shogun Clearly. Devestating leg kicks landed back to back.

round 5: edge Shogun




90% of shoguns kicks did not land and hit arm.......and most were dual exchanges. Shogun pressed the action so it looked as if he was landing more. It only took a few kicks to fuck up machida's ribs though.....most of the leg damage was done in the clinch in the early rounds during the takedown attempts......

after watching again i could see scoring lyoto in the early rounds....he landed more and cleaner punches....while shogun landed some powerfull shots.....but, lyto matched the amount of power shots with knees and kicks to the body. But the leg kicks too lyoto's legs towards the end, giving shogun two clear rounds.....

i could see how they scored machida now....although i'm honestly up in the air....i'll say shogun just because if it kept going he'd have finished him. But if you go by points, Lyoto out pointed him with much cleaner and diverse strikes.
