what is important when writing songs

what should i do it seems like im using to much gunplay what r some things i should use im trying to get signed to a latino rap record label i know i can get signed i just need to work on what to say and when to say it plus i need help writing hooks

can sum1 please help

1st off, if you aint killed a million cops. moved bricks like the great wall of china, or own more guns then the us armory dont talk about it. thats called lying. be yourself when you rap. now the occasional gunplay line is coo but it shouldnt be your whole verse. try thinking of original concepts when you write.be creative. now for hooks try to make them catchy. those are supposed to be the most memorable part of the song. aight. good luck
