Battle Layout --
I been lookin around and saw that some
of you wanted a battle tutorial so here we go..
"Battling"
noun: an open clash between two opposing groups or individuals;
In other words to tear the shit out of your opponent in any way shape or form.
This is my personal formatt for writing battles.
I. Look at your opponents name and think of ways to flip it to your advantage and to make them look inferior(punchlines). There's many things you can do to "flip" a name. You can use similies, metaphores etc. For instance if someones rap name is ExceLL...
"My rhymes are fire, I bring a text hell
Look at the way that I continue to X-CeLL" (X him out)...
Another way you can flip it;...."Usin microsoft is the only way you ExceLL"
Theres multiple things you can do... also check out there signatures, profiles, AIM profiles etc... Say they mention there girl In a profile or some bullshit like that....you can pull a punch ..... Even if you half to ask other emcee's online for the dirt.. who cares where U get it from..just get it!....
II. Multies (Muiltiple sylabols)
In todays rap game you cant get away with "one word rhymes" anymore.. Its mandatory you use mltiple sylabol rhymes;....
an easy way to set these up is to think of your second line first ..
Say your batteling someone named "Sickll Sell"
"My rhymes freeze you dawg, call em' Icicle
Ridin a two wheeler is the only way I'll ever "BuySickll"(Bicycle).....
See I thought of bicycle first, than found a word that rhymed with it...
Punches are easier to formulate this way too...
There's not that much else to say about battling...Practice makes perfect..and I've given you the two most neccasary steps to be succsessfull....
