How Do You Make Short Lines Sound Tight?

i mean.....like from 4 to 6 syllables........

i wanna shorten my bars up now.......cuz it's has a better flow to it.....i already have lyrical skills but alot of my lines be kinda long and it's fucks up the rhythm of the flow........

help me out please..........

We can't *tell* you how to flow..... you can write some stuff that has few syllables that can flow really well, provided they aren't all 4-6 or whatever. The it sounds like it'd get played out.

If you're a fast rappin emcee, you should have longer lines, because you can fit more syllables into each line.
