Richmond Public Library Hosts Monthly “Soul Café” Open Mic Poetry Beginning Sept. 10
The Richmond Public Library, 101 E. Franklin St., will be hosting “Soul Café,” an open mic poetry performance, on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 2:00 p.m.
Hosted by Jamil (Man U. Skript) Jasey, a local poet who has performed at open mics and poetry slams all over Richmond for the past five years, Soul Café is a monthly event, held every second Tuesday, as venue for local artists to express themselves through spoken word poetry.
