[Also, All Muslim Prayers Revolve Around The Location Of The Sun . . . therefore making the Sun An Idol For Muslims]

Catholics: [Countless Idols From Mary "Jesus' Mother" to The Roserie]

Christians: [The Cross / Jesus]

Buddhists: [Buddha]

Hindus: [Krishna, Shiva, Brahma]

Judaism: [We all know what they worship, let's keep it real]

The irony in all of it is this: The Prophets Spoke Against Everything All Of These Religions Practice And These Religions Claim To Follow The Prophets Who They Ignore.

i agree with •••ish, christian and muslims not practising what their prophets taught, but im not that educated when it comes to buddism and hinduism..in which way or buddhists and hindus not acting upon their prophets teachings?

Buddha taught his disciples to abandon the ego and the concept of "self" and even responded when asked: "I am only awake." He denied being worthy of worship and even instructed his disciples NOT to worship him. What do Buddhists do? They have built forms and they pray to them.

those are important symbols in christianity.

we dont worship them.

we just feel connected to god (who is all we worship) through them.

God cannot be worshipped through man-made things.
And praying to "symbols" is idolatry.

nobody is worshipping god thru man made things, and we're not praying to them.

the cross represents jesus's crucifixion not god, so when we see that we think about the events god's son went through not god himself.

WHAT DOES THE SECOND COMMANDMENT SAY!?

There is no way that you can call yourself a Christian and then justify breaking the Commandments.

The cross is idolatry.
Portraits of Jesus are idolatry.
Worship or praying to Jesus/Mary or any other human being CREATED by God is idolatry.

There is no way around it.
There is no justification for it.

If you want to have idols then have idols but atleast have the integrity to admit that they are in fact an idol. When you pray to God there should NOT be any image in your mind. You should not be associating images with worship for ANY reason whatsoever.

You already stated: "We just feel connected to god (who is all we worship) through them." Those were YOUR words, not mine. You feel connected to God through the cross but the cross will not save you. Jesus' death will not save you.
ONLY THE WORD OF GOD will save you.
