Gotta disagree here. You might be right if this was in regard to heroin or crack, but there's a lot of people who slam OCs and blow for years then man up, quit, and not necessarily "want" it again.
A physical dependency is one thing, but a mental dependency can be overcome. Although this is a gray area. Everybody's different, even addicts.
I don't like arguing from personal experience, but as a former oxie junkie who knows a whole lot of former oxie junkies, I can say that there are people who say, "Fuck this shit. I don't like this anymore."
But, like I said, everybody's different.
