Lets give marriage another try..

There was this article in the newspaper from a woman who had been cheated on by her husband. They were asking people to write in and give her advice on what she should do. I was struck by the amount of women who seemed to be forgiving of the man, and even blamed the woman, saying that the marriage was more important than his cheating and she should try to save it, even going as far as to blame the other woman. From reading this, I started to wonder whether women generally are more forgiving when it comes to a man's infedelity in a relationship, and why? Being a Man, and if the boot was on the other foot, I don't know If I could just say yea, it was only once don't worry about it.

The interesting thing is, I thought it would be the women, who who in general have a much more complicated relatioship with sex itself, than easy going man i.e. the need of intimacy and emotional connection to have sex with a man, to be the ones who would simply not take cheating at all, and the men to let it slide, but it seems men are less forgiving about cheating, and women don't always seem to mind.....as much.

What say you?

When you're married, shit is different.

the term boyfriend means nothing. it's not recognized by the state, it's not legally binding, you don't file paperwork to be a boyfriend or pay a fee...Outside of all that, there's a deeper sense of committment there than with bfs and gfs.

Besides, when you really love someone (especially women), you're more willing to listen to their side of the story and be understanding than when you're with a guy that you're not serious about.

As far as all that blaming the other woman, or the wife shit...that's taking it a little too far because every man (or woman) is in control of their actions. But I can honestly say that if my bf cheated on me, I probably wouldn't leave him right off the bat...I would at least try to make it work before letting it end.
