Im doing my xmas shopping and I have to buy for my neice who is 8 and my god daugher who is 10.. What kinda shit are these preteen girls into? I was thinking of just getting gift cards for them but that's so blah.. I like seeing their reaction opening a gift but since I don't know what's "cool" at that age I don't wanna end up getting them something crappy that they'll just pretend to like...lol

I know "Bratz" are pretty popular with that age group. There's a little girl that I know that just turned 9 and she's right into them. Anything Bratz and she's all over it lol.

I have a cousin who's about 10, she swears she's a little princess. Right now she's into make-up (like the little cheap tinted lipgloss) and nail polish. She keeps a little diary with a little lock.. that she thinks no one can open. Oh and she likes those ugly dolls with the big heads. When my family sends me stuff, they send like bath and body works stuff or clothes. You're Christmas shopping uber early.. I hope that helped.

I got the 8 y/o a Bratz doll last year so I wonder if she still likes thems.. I didnt really want to ask what they wanted but I just might have to..
