I meant how do you work out as in, what do you do? Do you do yoga or something?

I started this thread because I have been told by my gf that I am the best bf she's ever had, caring, compassionate, attentive, etc. The one thing that I want that I admit I am selfish with is I want anal occassionally. I don't think think its that big of a stretch to want her to suck it up and do it a few times a year, literally not weekly, not monthly, a few times a year. Maybe its asking too much

I didn't want to respond to Imperial about the "baby fat" issue, because some women are too sensitive with that... there is nothing you can say to them.
If they want to believe that they can't get rid of the fat, then let them believe it. It's why this country has such a large obesity problem... willful ignorance and lazy excuses.

Actually, another real reason why obesity is a problem is because it's expensive to live healthy. i.e. when I was vegan for a year, the food that I ate costs a helluva lot more than the stuff a non-vegan/vegetarian would eat. I had to stop my veganism because it was too expensive. And notice how raw veggies cost more than raw meat. Or how chicken, turkey and fish/seafood cost way more than red meats. A small carton of soy-milk costs more than a gallon of milk. Some of it has to do with politics as well.

They have yoga specifically for people that are pregnant. Back when I used to dance, I was taking a hip hop class taught by this lady that had to be at least 6 or 7 months along...and homegirl was throwin DOWN!
@ Seeson: for real...you should have checked with her to see what she is willing and unwilling to do a while ago. You guys are just dating...that is not your wife...she doesn't have to do anything she's not comfortable with...and if she isn't willing to compromise then maybe she doesn't feel that strongly.
so you're not wrong for asking. it doesn't hurt to ask...but it hurts to push. if she doesn't wanna do it, then she doesn't wanna do it.

Sami, you're right, but to be clear, its something she said she wouldn't have a problem with earlier on, and now she is just against it. If you haev never done something before, or know you won't be comfortable with something, don't fake the funk so to speak and give the guy expectations that you know you will never meet.

True, but you have to ask yourself, is your health really worth it?
It's either pay now or pay later... in meds, doctor's appointments, etc.
I can see if you're dirt poor and can only afford the cheapest food, clothing and shelter, then yeah, your options are limited... but you can still make wise choices... however, if you're living large in other areas.... like spending your disposable income on unnecessaries, then I can't understand the "healthy food is too expensive" argument. What? You'd choose a coach bag so you can have a cheeseburger? Or you'll pay a 100 dollar a month cellphone bill instead of joining a gym?

And then there is WALKING... which is free.
Bed rest is one of the worst things that a pregnant woman can do. It makes no sense. Yeah, I'm not a doctor, but other doctors dispute that.

A lot of people are financially struggling right know, even those in the middle class. A regular cheese burger costs more than a turkey burger or a veggie burger. And not very many places serve turkey or veggie burgers as fast food.
$100 month cellphone bill? Mine is only $40 a month but that's because it's prepaid. I have a gym I go to at this church that doesn't require pay or membership, so I'm good. But the food that I would've eaten when I was vegan cost a lot, so I just stick with the " no pork, no beef" diet.
