Well... I guess I'd like to live to... 85-95? I dunno, I mean if I develop alot of health conditions and can't enjoy life anymore then I wouldn't want to live much longer.

A popular country song once said
"And I donīt wanna think about tomorrow
I donīt need anything money can buy
I donīt have to beg, steal, or borrow
I just wanna live until I die"

I want to live old enough to see/experience some really special things (significant events), hopefully some of them good.
They say every generation has them, but I think a lot of them are overrated.

i only wanna live until i'm like 55 tops. after that, it's a downward spiral. I would have done everything i wanted by then. I would have had kids, grand kids, married, seen all the shit i wanted to see...conquered my dreams. what else do i need. fuck getting old.

Idealy I'd like to be 75 I think. I mean I see alot of old ppl come through at work and it's like, damn. I mean I feel so bad for them. Some times it makes me sad :o( And then gets me thinking about when I'm old and I dunno....I guess it depends where life takes me :o)

that's the point. i don't wanna be one of them old MF's that are a burden and can't get around on their own, or has to have someone take care of them like they a fuckin baby. fuck that.
i'll even push the envelope and say 65...but i don't want to be effin withered and decrepit when I die. too much suffering and heartache.

Husband's dad is 82. He plays tennis every day, hardly any health problems, I don't even think he takes any pills. He wears glasses and thats it. Age is not an idicator of quality.

I understand some of us are lucky when it comes to age. My Aunt just turned 78 and you'd NEVER guess it. She's out and about daily and doin her thing. I know a few other older ppl who are the same. One guy is 80 and I swear I would have never thought because he just doesn't look or seem "old". But I know with my luck I'll hit 60 and start falling apart LOL maybe even 50.

Long enough to see my son grow up and have kids of his own... life is only short when you have children and/or are surrounded by people who love you... when you're alone and miserable, life is looooong.
I don't want to be to the point where I can't take care of myself... if I live to be 90, I still want to be happy, healthy, and walking on my own two feet.... if not, then put me in the ground. I know a dude who's 95 who looks like he can pass for 75... he's slow-moving, but he walks on his own with no cane, wheelchair, or walker... and he's still very intelligent and healthy.
