Public displays of affection.
Do any women hate that as much as most men do?

Well, since no lady will answer... I hate when the PDA is too excessive, like extended french kissing in public or excessive groping... take it to a hotel room... especially when they're kids around... but simple things like holding hands or quick smooching is not a problem to me.

Hmmm... My experience has been that men seem to prefer it.
I hate really personal (sometimes possessive?) and public touches/gropes.

It drives me NUTS! More so working retail and having the younger couples make out while in line @@ Shit is just not right. I really hope I wasn't like that lol.
I don't have a problem with holding hands or a peck here or there. But shoving the tongues down the throat. Get outta here with that bs!

LMAO....I see it like.....
Guys hate it when their girl is average, or can be borderline annoying....but if they think their girl is a dime, they LOVE it, and they're usually the ones who initiate it
Girls usually love it, unless they know the dude isn't the best lookin and they are slightly embarassed...but they aren't as particular on them bein "fine" like a guy is to be out in public doin it like that.
Girls HATE SEEIN IT when they are single, LOL. They will complain like the couple is doin somethin wrong....."look at them all hugged up, that shit is corny, they need to go somewhere else, don't nobody wanna see that!!" when their mind is sayin "cot damn I'm jealous.....damn I wish I had a dude who'd be like that for me.....damn I am hatin hard"
Guys laugh when they see it, even though some do get a lil jealous. They look like "wtf, this guy is a simp!! He's probably a lil buster, holdin hands and all that corny shit" and most dudes will never do it when they are around their homeboys or people who judge them tough.

^ that is all wrong for real lol. I mean, some might think that way? I don't know. But for real, my man is good looking, and I'm not single and the both of us feel the same way about couples that make out in public!
I'm married, don't consider myself "ugly" and most of the time the couples I see doin it, aren't very attractive. So just my experience with it alone disproves your theory of it all ;o)
I find it just very disrespectful. More so in the lineup with ppl right behind you or in front of you. Shit is just wrong. If I wanted to watch soft core porn, I'd go home and enjoy some. I don't need to see that shit when I'm in public or working ;o)

It's nothing to do with my girl being ugly or average. If I like a girl both personality wise and looks wise, enough to even 'date' her, then her appearance is of no concern. I'm just not the type of fella to scrape the snot out of my girls throat every 20 seconds with an audience.
I don't consider myself to be as good looking as some of the other dudes she's been with or could have, but she isn't a big one on public affection either.

I think it's an insecurity thing... people do it to mark their territory, as if to tell potential suitors to back off.

^I have yet to adopt the term "hella" into my vocabulary... although a lot of East Coast cats are coppin' Cali slang... I still prefer to say "mad," "crazy," or "wild." I just recently started saying "homie" again... after at least a 10-15 year absence... "homie" and "homeboy" were popular on the East during the '80s.

my girl likes to kiss and borderline make out in public... im cool with it, and i actually enjoy holding her hands
from time 2 time i grab her butt (lol) when i think nobodys looking and she always says "babe!" but smiles so deep down i know she likes it
sometimes i feel uncomfortable in some situations, due to the •••••••••• of a mixed couple
like if we're kissing
and its a bunch of black dudes around
i find it uncomfortable because i feel like they're prolly mad at me for being with a black girl and mad at her for being with a white guy, cuz people do hate like that
its not that serious, it wont stop me from doin it or whatever but its just a feeling i get sometimes
if its all white people around it dont bother me though, or if its black females around either

I love PDA...I dunno, to me, it's romantic to be with someone that you have such a strong connection with that it's like the rest of the world just disappears and you can do your thing and not care what people think. that's the problem with affection...people are so concerned about what others are thinking and what people are gonna say and their "image" that they don't do what they feel, or express their emotions.
I don't think PDA is that bad...none of you would have sex in a public place? nothing exciting like that? would that not be considered PDA?
i dunno, maybe i'm just coming in from far left.
