For those of you that moved out of your parents house what drove you to that point?

Was it just that you felt like it was time to move on? Or was it you didn't want to follow her rules anymore?

Well, for one, I was pregnant. I knew I didn't wanna have my baby and still live in my parents house. The reason I moved out, and the reason I didn't want my baby born and have to live in that house. Is my wicked step brothers LOL. We got along and shit. But they thought it was funny to do stupid shit to me all the time. I had enough of it and just wanted OUT!!

So I moved out a day after I graduated high school and I think 10 days before I had my son LOL Been gone ever since ;o)

i feel you on that not lol. i go tired of hearing this is my house shit lol so i left VA. nevermind moving out the house i moved out the state lol but now that i have my own kids and responsibilties i understand what she was trying to tell me

For me it was a few things. My mom was moving and I didnt wanna go with, I had just started goin to school, and I had always wanted to get a house with some friends that I could sit in front of the TV and smoke dope all day when i had time without somebody yelling over my shoulder. It was just that time in many ways. SO worth it though, other than spending $600 a month that you dont gotta spend free riding at the rents house.

Well I moved in with my man...so that was a big deciding factor...but even if I had not met him at the time I still would have been out there. I was very unhappy living in the enviroment I was living in.
