I thought this was very interesting anytime i hear of new african-american history i try to share it with others. I feel that if the suffering of our people have gotten us to the point we are at now then we must honor those who fought for us and keep the legacy alive.

What is it with you and the 'suffering' of our people? I have a newsflash for you - the history of the world is suffering for everyone except for the Aristocratic classes. I mean the feudal age was a nightmare for all, and up until the mid 1800's people in America were dying in factories and it was all perfectly legal. In fact, in Canada and America they used to bring in the Militia's to shoot down Unions... It was a horror show for most people. This ann of green gables nonsense was a portrayal of the very rich the top of America same goes for most 'historic' movies.

It's amazing how easily we fall into psychological warfare traps - heh, Blacks have created a lot of suffering as well, the Aksumite Empire killed a damn lot of people and enslaved like everyone else so did Moroe' kingdoms.

Most of the enslaved were Nordics and many came from Rome - Do you think they were treated well and good? Um, No.

You have to stop with this victim complex it's not good for the soul.

well you have the right to your opinion. I'd just like to say that i never once said that african american were the only ones on earth that had it hard. The only thing that i am doing by posting this here is to let other african-american see that our people has had it pretty bad through out history and now we have it better than they ever did but endured with no choice so that there future generation wouldn't have to do so. Sometime i really feel like my folks fight for the wrong things instead of fighting for better treatment, for better laws that govern us, they would rather fight for material things that don't mean shit instead of unifying and becoming strong. As far as that victim comment goes not sharing knowledge is not good for the soul or the brain.

You see the most dangerous error in my view is your 'strength in groups' concept. It has been shown time and time again that groups are the most dangerous thing to the survival of the individual and the mass mind is of the most fanatical type.

Nazism, Communism, Capitalism, Scientific race based slavery all took advantage of the weakness of the group. There is no strength to be had when all one most do to control the whole is to gain control of the leader of the group (which is easy enough in a world that runs on this odd thing called money.), if the group can be convinced that their interests lie in the same direction as those of the leader their [the followers] fates have already been sealed, and they really do, really really do, believe that they are fighting for 'their' interests even when the opposite is true. Simple really.

Remember the United States was the first nation which allowed 'individualism' - It was Britain and other European states which reinforced the illusion of 'unity' into the minds of their peasants, to their very detriment for hundreds of years.

When the black skinned peoples of the United States became free, or at least believed they were, leaders of the same skin color were given to them. The leaders than proceeded to feed their minds with the very same toxic ideal that kept the white skinned peoples of Europe in bondage for hundreds of years, 'unity' 'group' 'strength in numb-ers' etc.

This was deliberate when you go back into the recordings of history. If the black man was an individual he was unable to be controlled by the former masters, this caused much distress... How could former masters control the minds of black individuals? They could not, it's impossible to hire a man to keep each black mind in prison -however it's much easier to get them grouped into one entity, have them empathize with such a 'novel' idea and then give them the leaders. (Black Power anyone? Sign up here, follow that man there!)

You can control thousands of black minds that way - and it's cost efficient as well.

Sharing poisonous thought, and reinforcing an old trick of Emperors, Masters and Dictators of years past is not good for the soul, brain or body.

But even that group of white men are given their leader as well - they are no different, no longer thinking and acting as individuals but as the mass mind, the fanatic mind.

The last time I looked around at my place of work the Whites the Asians the Blacks all had to be in at the same hour, pay the same taxes and lose their lives in the same 9-5 grind for the true masters.
