Drake might leave YMCMB after his next album for Rocnation
Sparking this conversation cuz of something I saw on twitter. No word on if this rumor's that legit (cuz i saw it on twitter lol) but apparently Jay-Z's ready to dish out $50 million to Drake. Not getting paid for royalties is a big reason this is a possibility.
Personally I think it'd be a dope fit for Drake. His style's never been very YMCMB to me...besides, the talent that would be around him (Jay Z, Kanye, J Cole, GOOD Music) is much much better than what he has now.
So for debate, what label would you wanna see drake with?

Drake never was my cup'o'tea, therefore I am not, nor was ever a fan of his.
It would be interesting to see what he'd be releasing if signed to a new label. Would he explore creative routes or simply stay as he is now.

Drake has two solid albums under his belt so I'm a fan. Wouldn't count him in my top ten or anything, but he has a lot of potential. Moving to Rocnation wouldn't affect his sound at all, so I don't really care what label he's on. Cash Money hasn't really had a "standard" style since the Hot Boyz were around. Drake, Wayne's, and Minaj's albums all sound different.
I believe the royalties rumors, though, considering Juvenile, Turk, and B.G. all jumped ship and numerous producers have been fucked over by CM. Birdman is like our generation's Suge Knight, except no one is scared of him.
