People who can't see why Chief Keef is dope are stupid
He's a rebellious ignorant teenager who grew up in the murder capital.
His style of music reflects how HE grew up, as a product of his environment. A lot of you guys are looking at things from your own little bubble, hence why you can't fathom his music.
That's why he's so appealing to so many. His music makes you feel his pain and his struggles given the fucked up circumstances he grew up in.
His music is ART based off of REAL shit. He's painting a picture of his life trapped in the system.
Hip-hop is all about life experiences. Chief Keef gives you an authentic feel and portrayal of a lost teenager growing up in the murder capital. THAT'S why his music is so impactful to me.

So if it's all about how he grew up in the murder capital of Chicago and that's what shaped his music.....then how come Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Common all have much, much different music compared to his??

This would be a good argument IF he actually articulated and painted vivid images of his struggle through his music. All he talks about is killin, spending money, fucking bad bitches, cars, and designer clothes. He doesn't talk about what drives his love for all of that stuff. He doesn't talk about what made him into the person/artist he is today. All he does is glorify he doesn't talk about the downside of his experiences. He is just a artist who media likes to laugh at behind his back, but when he's in their presence they like to pretend they're laughing with him. A lot of his fans are people who just like the most ignorant shit you could possibly find. I guarantee you all the fans that abandoned Soulja Boy are now Chirf Keef fans.
L.E.P. Bogus Boys are the ones who paint accurate pictures of how rough Chicago is. If you're looking for a glimpse into the mind of a Chicago gangsta they're the ones you're looking for because they really live THAT life. Keef really lives that live too, but he isn't a talented musician. Young Chop is the star in this situation and that isn't really saying much either because he's not bringing anything new to the table, trap beats are a dime a dozen in today's industry.
murder capital is not indicative of the city and has not really been so even when dudes would open fire off the top off cabrini onto 94......picture's blurry to me
